    Early Bitcoin Experiment
    ZapChain
    Jun 2014 - Mar 2016 (1 year 10 months)
I created ZapChain in 2013 as an experiment of combining an online community platform with microtransactions on the blockchain. ZapChain originally was a community of bitcoin professionals, investors, and enthusiasts, and at one point was the highest quality place for the top people in the industry to have discussions. Notable members included Brian Armstrong (CEO of Coinbase), Roger Ver, Vitalik Buterin (Creator of Ethereum), Charlie Lee (Creator of Litecoin), and Brock Pierce. ZapChain users could post questions, or content, and then tip bitcoin to quality responses the community responded with. ZapChain later expanded to include communities for Virtual Reality, Drones, and Artificial Intelligence.

    Sep 2008 - Jun 2011 (2 years 10 months)
Joined Ustream full time as one of the first employees when I was 19, pre series A. Ustream is a platform that allows anyone to broadcast live video. This is now a technology you will find on many websites, like Facebook and YouTube, but back then nobody had ever done it before. We had Snoop Dogg talking to fans live on Ustream, live speeches from Obama during his campaign, and a group of Shiba Inu puppies that went so viral they ending up on the Today Show. While at Ustream I was responsible for: •  Increasing viewership. •  Increasing users. •  Innovating on live video functionality. •  Integrating viral functionality. Ustream has since been acquired by IBM.
