She does not believe fitness centres should only cater for the already fit and is a strong advocate for change.Growing up with an older Sister with a disability and spending her life fighting for the rights of her daughter to be included in all aspects of life, Carol with her daughter Caitlin who lives with an intellectual disability and dyspraxia, have joined forces to educate and inspire change. Together they created Enable.Enable - creating Awareness, a sense of Belonging, to enhance Lives, through Exercise and Employment.Enable workshops are inspiring change through creating inclusive fitness centres.We believe -Everyone deserves the opportunity to exercise! Carol and Caitlin have developed group classes that enable people with intellectual disabilities and ASD to participate. Our training is run by people with lived experience of disability this makes our program unique.Our workplaces should reflect the communities they serve, we are strong advocates for employing people with disabilities.
