- Achieved 3rd place at a 24-Hr LFS case competition asking students do develop an idea/plan to solve the global food desert issue - Developed a mobile grocery truck system that brings economical, healthy and sustainable produce to food-deserted neighborhoods

Worked with 4 other engineering/science students to develop a 3D spatial mouse using IMU sensors and JavaScript (Node & Three) to help students (K-12 + Med school) visualize complex 3D objects such as engines and human anatomy

Stair Lift Design Project

Feb 2015

• Designed a simple indoor stair lifting device capable of lifting a seated person up to 175kg up and down a set of straight stair case • Drafted all mechanical parts of the device on AutoCAD 2015 including the seat, helical gears and the electric motor

STOP-UXO RC Vehicle

Jan 2015

• Built a remote-controlled vehicle capable of maneuvering through sand terrain and detecting buried electromagnets in assigned group of 6 using Futaba 4YF Remote Controllers, Arduino boards, 3-D printers, water jet cutter, and NX • Used the iterative design process consisting of: Generating Concepts, Evaluating/Selecting Concepts, Designing in Detail, Building, and Reviewing & Revising throughout the project, tracking progress with Gantt charts and logbooks • Competed in program year-wide vehicle competition, presented an oral presentation, and wrote a formal report
