Executive Vice President
Clinton Health Access Initiative Inc
Jul 2005 - Jul 2010 (5 years 1 month)
As a member of a four-person Executive Management Team, I led the organization through a high growth period (from 50 to 700 people during my tenure). I established greenfield operations in 17 African countries, and led a $400M, 33-country public-private facility focused on driving access to new HIV/AIDS drugs and diagnostics. Through work with 20+ African countries and companies including Beckton-Dickinson, Roche, Mylan, and Cipla, we reduced prices 80%, dramatically increased purchasing volumes of key pediatric and second-line HIV products, and accelerated access to millions with superior new health technologies.
