After building two successful technology companies, I founded Flock following my own experience with the intractable problem of crime. When my neighborhood was victimized and we approached law enforcement to build a case, I learned that because of lack of evidence, most people who are victims of crime never get their property back, that most families do not see the public safety system work for them. That was unacceptable to me. Safety is a fundamental right. Flock's mission is to build technology that protects privacy and reduces crime while earning trust from customers and society. Flock partners with cities, businesses, schools, and neighborhoods to protect where people live, work, and play. Our systems provide real-time awareness and collaboration across agencies and communities, creating safer places where residents and employees feel secure. By combining hardware, software, and a nationwide network, we deliver objective intelligence that helps solve crimes, accelerates investigations, deters future incidents, and protects civilians. We believe responsibly deployed technology can reduce crime, protect civil liberties, and strengthen community trust.
