I serve as the Principal and CEO of Parisleaf, a branding agency that helps nonprofits fund progress by branding their major fundraising campaigns. With nearly 20 years of experience in building brands and the fundraising sector, I’ve dedicated my career to helping mission-driven organizations turn vision into momentum and momentum into meaningful philanthropy. My professional passion lies in people, puzzles,...and alliteration.
Our team at Parisleaf has had the privilege of partnering with organizations like the The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, Caltech, the National Park Foundation, University of Florida, OhioHealth, University of Denver, Minneapolis Institute of Art, Nicklaus Children's Hospital, Catalina Island Conservancy, University of South Carolina, Salvation Army, and the University of Maryland (to name a few).
Our ambition is to impact humanity by helping our partners raise $25 billion between 2020 and 2030.
In addition to my work at Parisleaf, I serve as Chair of The Generosity Committee, under The Giving Institute (publisher of Giving USA). This Committee is focused on convening the sector to address the alarming decline in everyday giving, where nearly one million households have stopped giving to charities each year for the past two decades. Through collaboration with researchers, associations, tech companies, and consulting firms, we are working to strengthen the philanthropic sector.
Recently, I completed a year-long listening tour with advancement leaders at institutions including UNC, UVA, UCLA, University of Illinois, and many other leading institutions to learn about the future of the profession from these development powerhouses.
I live in Gainesville, Florida, where I co-founded Parisleaf alongside my wife, Ali. Most importantly, I’m a proud dad to our three-year-old son, Wilder, active in my local community of Gainesville, Florida, but true to my Atlanta roots of being a Georgia Peach. Y'all.
