Founder, Recruiter + Coach

Twenty years ago, I graduated from art school. What stayed with me was not just how to make art, but how art is really about people: connection, perspective, and storytelling. I realized my energy came from building those connections, not only between people and art, but between people and each other. That insight set me on a path to dedicate my career to the creative and design community.
Along the way, I worked with organizations such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Siemens, eBay, Amazon, Publicis Sapient, Havas, The Wharton School, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and many startups supporting professionals to build ambitious and fulfilling careers.
I spent the first 10 years of my career in the US, then was hired by Facebook to move to London and build their first design teams outside the US. Over the next decade, I grew the international design organization from scratch to 700 people, hiring designers from 30+ countries and building teams in London, Amsterdam, Tel Aviv, Singapore, Tokyo, the US, and across Europe.
I have amassed more than 40,000 hours of experience hiring and coaching designers. What brings me the greatest joy is walking alongside people on their journeys, supporting career pivots, celebrating wins, and helping navigate tough moments such as layoffs and change.
Recruiting is often treated as transactional. I see it differently: it is a profession rooted in ethics, responsibility, and care. That belief inspired me to found Good Maven, a specialist design recruitment and coaching company that meets people and teams where they are and helps them grow. Since launching, we have partnered with companies including Monday.com, n8n, Sanity, Paid, AT&T, and more.
If you are a designer looking for your next chapter, or a company seeking design and product leaders who can shape the future, follow me for insights on building fulfilling careers, creating ethical hiring practices, and growing world-class teams.
