Its products help automate tax calculation, tax exemption certificate management, and tax returns. The company serves over 40,000 customers in more than 75 countries, including Adidas, Zillow, and Pinterest. Avalara went public in 2018 at a $1.5B valuation, reached $700M in annual revenue, and was acquired by Vista Equity Partners for $8.4B in 2022.

Google Domains was a domain registration service launched by Google in 2014, providing domain registrations, DNS hosting, and domain forwarding. They managed 10 million registered domains across 26 countries and generated an estimated annual revenue of $120 million before being acquired by Squarespace in 2023 for $180 million.

As a UX Designer III on the Google Domains team, I collaborated with project managers, software engineers, and UX researchers to research, design, test, and develop a new hosting service aimed at expanding the Google Domains feature offerings and attracting new customers.

Ranku acquired by John Wiley Sons

Ranku was a Seattle-based software startup founded in 2013, backed by Microsoft Ventures, Mark Cuban Companies, and Techstars. The company provided recruitment technologies designed to boost online student enrollment at colleges and universities. Ranku's primary offerings included customized web design, analytics services, and a custom CMS tailored for online learning departments. Ranku secured contracts with over 50 university clients and supported more than 250 online learning programs before being acquired by John Wiley & Sons for $25 million in 2016.

As a UX Designer, I collaborated closely with Ranku’s founders and lead software engineer to research, design, test, and develop new products and features.

The company provides web and mobile apps that help digital marketers manage and measure the performance of advertising partnerships. Tune grew to $85 million in annual revenue, serving clients including Apple, Twitter, Uber, and Starbucks before being acquired by Constellation Software in 2020.

As a UX Designer at Tune, I collaborated closely with product managers and software engineers to research, design, test, and deliver new products and features.

FIAF French Institute Alliance Francaise

Established in 1898, the French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in New York City, dedicated to French language and culture. FIAF runs a French immersion preschool program, the Haskell Library (the largest private French library in the United States), a performing arts theater, and numerous annual events celebrating French culture.

As a Graphic Designer at FIAF, I collaborated closely with the marketing team and web development team to produce engaging digital and print marketing materials that attracted new and returning guests to FIAF programs and events.
