Shane Yokota

👋 Hey, I'm Shane 🎓 A senior at University of Southern California majoring in Computer Science. 📚 It all started in high school when I began self-teaching basic coding and building small projects. This sparked further curiosity to learn more advanced concepts in computer science. 💼 Since then, I've worked as a software engineer at Shopify, LinkedIn, Paraform, Keepsake, EZread, DreamCoat, and Blue Panther Media - contributing growth engineering, full-stack development, optimizing performances, and implementing new features. 💻 As for future, I hope to work on cool software and build, tackle, and fix complex infrastructure. 🚀 During my free time, you might find me competing at Hackathons - 🥇Grand Prize/1st Place @ Shopify Shop Minis Hackathon - 🥇1st Place Orkes Prize @ UC Berkeley AI Hackathon 2025 - 🥇1st place Most Creative Use of Vercel/v0 in Edge AI track(Vercel Prize) @ TreeHacks 2025 - 🥇1st place Best Identity Credential Application Hack(Crossmint Prize) @ TreeHacks 2024 - 🥇1st place Best use of XRP Ledger(Ripple Prize) @ CalHacks 10.0 For more, checkout shaneyok.vercel.app
