VP Software Engineering
United States
200 engineers and leaders. 35 teams. One financial planning platform used by 120,000+ Advisors and millions of their Clients.
That's what I'm accountable for as VP of Software Engineering at eMoney Advisor and it's why I keep coming back to a question a lot of engineering leaders are now facing: how do you move faster with AI without spending the trust you've spent years building?
In financial software, that tension is real. Advisors don't want a tool that makes decisions for them. They want one that removes the friction between them and the conversation they're actually trying to have with a client. So we are pushing AI hard into how we build and carefully into what we ship, always with the advisor in control. All 200 engineers use AI tooling daily now and on the workstreams where we have pushed hardest, cycle time is down 6x.
Before eMoney I led engineering at Jornaya, Zonoff, PointRoll, and Capital One, and spent 13 years at Ellucian growing from senior engineer to Director.
Always glad to connect and compare notes with other technology leaders and builders.
