Core developer for the Vega procotol, a decentrazlied derivatives exchange built as a app-chain on top of the tendermint/cometbft consensus layer. I was a vital member of a small team taking the network from its testnet through to its mainnet launch.

Working closely with researchers and quants I developed a novel hybrid orderbook that allowed a traditional clob to overlay multiple uniswap V3 style vAMMs. This allowed a new market's liquidity to be bootstrapped by retail users defining and providing capital to a vAMM, while still allowing sophisticated algorithmic traders to run their orderbook based strategies.

I built other core exchange functionality such as the matching engine, funding rate mechanisms and advanced o

Lead the development of a new cloud-based offering to the nShield product line, hosting microservices in AWS using kubenetes to allow access to off-prem multi-tenant HSMs. By providing client side libraries impementing the PKC11 interface this allowed for a drop in replacement to legacy PKI workflows allowing customers seamless migration to the new product.

Also developed mechanisms for trusted key wrapping and transportation to allowed support for advanced features in Entrust's PKCS11 library.

Developed Parsolid, a low level geometry kernel and 3D math library that is used in high performance enterprise CAD applications.

Working primarily in the blending team I introduced new geometric algorithms such surfaces generation for apex-range chamfer, tracking of blend-like regions on mesh surfaces, and the extension of blend-like mesh surfaces. I also improved existing algorithms such as G2 blend robustness, greatly increasing the ability to detect regions of a surface along an embedded curve, and bringing the performance of all blending operations to under 1s.
