    Wildfire AWARE
Wildfire AWARE is an AI-based application for predicting wildfires. The project encompasses the belief that if you can predict wildfires, you can prevent them from happening in the first place. The application uses Big Data and Machine Learning the to predict the likelihood of a wildfire occurring in a given location. It uses the WebWorldWind globe to visualise this data for the end user. Achievements: -> UN World Challenge 2018 - 1st Prize (€2000) -> Microsoft Azure Challenge 2018 at the UN World Challenge - 1st Prize (£1200) -> NASA Europa Challenge 2017 - 4th Prize -> Research Councils UK Smart Cities Entrepreneurship Award (£2500) -> Presented at the ESA Earth Observation Φ-week in Rome, Italy in November 2018
