My fanaticism has consistently outweighed my athleticism (as a vertically challenged person… always a fan, rarely a player). Between being a Duke Blue Devil and a lifelong Knicks fan, I’ve had my fair share of friendly wagers with anyone who would indulge me – friends, family members, colleagues, and my wife (she worked for the Duke basketball team, so she gets me). From NYC to NC to SF, you could find me betting 5 bucks here or a beer there; I consistently wanted to engage with the game beyond watching from the sidelines or a barstool. When I’m not working my butt off to make the dream of Lucra a reality - you can find me drinking wine with family and friends, throwing darts in my apartment and celebrating “big shots” with no one watching, or eating an impossible burger and convincing myself it's real meat #highcholesterolproblems.
