Along with the editorial staff of the New Worcester Spy, I moderated a biweekly, hour-long podcast looking into recent political developments. Popcorn and Spoilers

Associated with the New Worcester Spy, Popcorn and Spoilers is a weekly movie review podcast that I started with another Spy staff member, Brock. Each week, I take a look at a movie, take notes on it, and write, host, and edit a podcast for publication online and on iTunes. Fear Itself
    New Worcester Spy
    Dec 2015
Following the San Bernardino shooting, I found myself upset at the level of confusion and fear that I saw around me, so I wrote this op-ed with the goal of reminding people that the world is not an evil place, and though watching the news can make it hard to remember, the majority of people, are good.

    AMBER
    Amazon
    Dec 2015
My first published short story, AMBER, was a true learning experience. On the way to getting this published, I refined my creative writing skills, learned about the editing process, and experienced what it is like to put something out into the world to be judged by absolute strangers. Although this is a horror story, I enjoy writing many different genres. In addition to horror, I find comedy to be incredibly interesting and fun, as it is perhaps the most challenging but also the most rewarding type of writing.

    The Jester's Democracy
    New Worcester Spy
    Sep 2015
In one of my favorite articles that I have written for the Spy, I take a look at the place of satirical journalism in our society. I grew up watching tv shows that point out the absurdity of the world around us, and truly believe that comedy is often overlooked as an important part of our culture.

    Worcester Start-Ups Get Head Start
    New Worcester Spy
    Apr 2015
One thing I enjoy about working on a local newspaper is the ability to become part of the community, and being able to explore the city around me and immersing myself in the culture. In this piece, I was able to check out a small business and share their story.

How to Get Your Democratic Muscles in Shape
    New Worcester Spy
This article is my response to all those who say "There is no way to find good news anymore!", acting as a reminder that, through the power of Capitalism, news outlets are only providing the coverage that their viewership demands. Our power, as consumers, is the power of choice, and even the simple act of flicking from channel A to channel B sends a message, allowing us to have control over the news we are exposed to.
This is a community-created genome.
