Senior operating executive with 25+ years building, scaling, and transforming technology-driven businesses in consumer finance. Currently Chief Operating Officer at AmeriSave, one of the nation's largest direct-to-consumer mortgage lenders, with end-to-end accountability for loan origination operations (sales, underwriting, processing, closing, and post-closing), enterprise technology & AI, compliance, capital markets, human resources, and customer service.
Earlier in my AmeriSave tenure, I architected the proprietary digital mortgage platform behind nearly 1,200% growth, from $1.86 billion to $24.2 billion in annual loan fundings. I now apply that same builder's instinct to the operating side of the house: straight-through loan manufacturing, lower cost to originate, compressed cycle times, and a better borrower experience.
My work touches most of the mortgage technology ecosystem, as an operator and a buyer:
• GSE & agency infrastructure: Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter, Freddie Mac Loan Product Advisor, Ginnie Mae programs, AUS strategy / automated decisioning
• Credit and verification: Prescreen / Credit Reports from TransUnion, Equifax, Experian, Cotality (formerly CoreLogic) CredCo, The Work Number, AccountChek and Finicity open banking for asset & income verification. An early pilot partner (2016) for what Fannie Mae later branded Day 1 Certainty. AmeriSave is now among the first lenders partnering with Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac on the VantageScore 4.0 rollout, originating conforming loans on VantageScore 4.0 since May 2026 in addition to FICO Classic
• Collateral & valuation: Cotality Mercury Network, Clear Capital, HouseCanary, HomeGenius
• Applied AI: production LLM flows built on OpenAI, Anthropic & Google Gemini for document classification, data extraction, income analysis & underwriting assist, plus AI-assisted engineering with Claude Code & Cursor
• Cloud & communications: MS Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and contact center telephony across Twilio, Bandwidth, Vonage, Peerless
• Doc prep with DocMagic
Peers, fintech founders, and institutional investors regularly ask me where mortgage technology, AI adoption in lending, and the origination cost curve are headed. I enjoy those conversations and learn from them as much as anyone.
