I build software and lead the teams that build it. Over the past seven years I've hired 20 engineers, run ~80 interviews, and built the hiring bar, code-review standards, and career-development frameworks (IDP/KPI) that a growing front-end practice depends on. My job is to grow engineers and ship work clients trust, in that order. I got here the long way. I started as a marketing coordinator at a mobile content company, raised my hand for Photoshop work, launched a product line, co-founded a small agency, and grew into leading engineering teams at a 400-person consulting firm. Self-taught, still hands-on. My point of view on AI: the value isn't in demos, it's in what ships and holds up in production. On Resultant's AI Taskforce and across client work I've put that to the test, a RAG chatbot on Google Vertex AI Search, a multi-model ad platform (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini), AI-first discovery for special-education and public-sector clients, and an accessibility crawler that turns raw crawls into a triage dashboard. I care about AI that engineers can maintain and clients can rely on. I lead best as a player/coach: hands-on enough to review real code, unblock a hard problem, and keep my engineers' trust, a leader who can still do the work, not just hand it out. I'm known for stepping up when things are uncertain. When client demand shifted, I took on business development across seven states and kept delivery on track for existing clients, because someone needed to.
