Thomas Wellmann

I have been working as an engineer with ERM since 2007. ERM GmbH is an internationally active company for consulting and planning services as well as project management around the topics of environmental protection, occupational safety, risk management and social compatibility. ERM opened its first office in Germany in 1989 in Frankfurt am Main. Currently, more than 230 people are employed at the Frankfurt headquarters and the Cologne, Hamburg and Munich offices. At ERM I am responsible for environmental/landfill remediation as well as DD&D, Decommissioning, Decontamination and Demolition services in Central Europe with regard to the expansion of the business field, the acquisition of new clients and the development and management of qualified teams. I am a technical adviser/demolition expert the German Demolition Association (DA) and representative of ERM GmbH at the German Demolition Association (DA) and the European Demolition Association (EDA). In my function as a member of the Chamber of Engineers I’m authorized to sign construction and demolition plans under German law (State building code) for planning permissions documents and submit them on behalf of ERM GmbH. From 2008 to 2017, I continued to work as a project lead and general manager for remediation projects in Switzerland as well as the establishment of the ERM Switzerland office.
