Hiring has always fascinated me because it’s one of the few business decisions that touches everything. Get it right, and teams grow faster, leaders spend less time backfilling problems, and people do their best work. Get it wrong, and the impact shows up everywhere.
I’ve spent my career on both sides of the hiring table, as the leader making hiring decisions and as the talent leader helping organizations build better ways to attract, assess, and hire great people. That perspective shapes how I approach talent acquisition.
I’ve worked across high-volume, service-driven environments and leadership hiring, supporting everything from frontline teams to executive searches. The industries have been different, but the challenge is always the same: finding the right person, at the right time, and creating a process that people trust and can repeat.
At my core, I’m a builder. I like taking something that’s messy, unclear, or underperforming and making it work better. Sometimes that means building infrastructure from the ground up. Sometimes it means simplifying processes that have become overly complicated. Sometimes it’s helping recruiters think more strategically or helping hiring managers become stronger interviewers and decision-makers.
I believe talent acquisition works best when it’s treated as a business function. The strongest organizations understand that employer brand, candidate experience, process, and data all influence one another. When those pieces are connected and working together, hiring stops being reactive and starts creating real momentum for the business.
I’m energized by solving problems, developing people, challenging the status quo, and creating hiring experiences that are thoughtful, efficient, and genuinely human. Because at the end of the day, hiring isn’t just about filling jobs. It’s about building teams, creating opportunities, and helping organizations move forward through great people.
