    I am helping my organization to split a monolith into microservices. I am leading a small team with two other developers, and we together are in charge of the backend services for one of the most important UIs of SchoolMessenger. I have optimized one of our crucial services by using many techniques, like, connection pools, parallelization of data retrieving and processing, query optimization, and analyzing and taking out redundant processing. I have used tools like Jmeter and New Relic to perform load testing and monitor the service behavior.
