I like to build things – code, software products, teams and companies. There’s no greater satisfaction than getting stuff done!I’m a software engineer by training and have worked in Bell Labs Research early in my career. I’ve spent a much of my career building RightNow (the first SaaS enterprise customer service platform), where I led Engineering from the beginning, through our IPO in 2004 and eventual acquisition in 2012 by Oracle for nearly $2B. Subsequently, I ran Product and Engineering at Dataminr a NYC-based event discovery and data science startup. I am currently a Director at Cradlepoint, the leader in 4G broadband networking and software defined, cloud delivered networks.I’ve founded a company, Centricient, which will make interactions between customers and companies as frictionless and comfortable as communicating with friends. As a result of our RightNow journey, my team and I have deep experience building customer engagement and service solutions. The contact center hasn’t changed much since we started RightNow 15+ years ago. We will change that!Centricient is based in Bozeman, Montana, the “Last Best Place”. I split my time between Bozeman and New York City, which couldn’t be more different, but also another "Best Place".
