Architected and lead the implementation of the BSQUARE Platform Layer (BPL). The BPL is a lightweight version of the Microsoft's WDM which allows portable device drivers to be written for Windows CE. The BPL was the first significant software project in BSQUARE's Embedded Systems Group and I was the driving force that brought the BPL from conception to completion. Making this project a reality required that I be involved with QA, building and documentation. The BPL ultimately decreased the adaption time of new Windows CE platforms and provided a foundation for BSQUARE's web distributed portable driver library
