AI/ML since before it was cool (but still after backprop - Neural Networks Leadership Award, ICNN ‘95). I spent four years studying under Walter J. Freeman at his Berkeley computational neuroscience lab, including two years in the U.C. Berkeley Biophysics Ph.D. program; I’ve been fortunate enough to co-author a few peer-reviewed conference and journal papers, during and after academia. CTO or Chief Data Scientist for the last 20 years, focused on GenAI for the last 3. I love solving big problems, building new products and teams, and innovating new solutions to get customer what they need. Intellectual honesty is everything… also, if it's been done before, I'm probably not interested. :)
